The South West Pokémon Network

This is an independent directory of every Pokémon Trading Card Game shop, stockist and show in South West England. It covers Devon, Cornwall, Somerset, Dorset, Bristol, Wiltshire and Gloucestershire, and it is designed to answer one question well: where can I actually buy, sell or play Pokémon cards near me?

How listings are found

Shops are discovered automatically. A nightly job searches mapping and business data across every town in the region for card shops, comic and pop culture stores, tabletop shops and market traders that carry Pokémon product. Each candidate is then enriched from its own website and social pages for opening hours, stock focus and contact details, deduplicated against existing listings, and queued for human review before it appears publicly.

Shows work the same way. The event finder scans shop pages, community listings and web results for card fairs, TCG tournaments, prereleases and league nights in the region, then normalises the dates into the calendar.

How ranking works

The toplist blends how complete a listing is, review signals where available, whether the shop actively runs events, and community engagement. Network partners are labelled clearly as partners so you always know what is a paid relationship and what is not.

Who is behind it

The network is built and maintained by Tech Guy TCG — previously Tech Guy Tavistock, now trading from 4 King Street, Tavistock — with Legacy TCG, and pricing powered by Comped, the UK card pricing engine formerly known as Price This. Premium Comps is the network's headline sponsor.

Corrections and additions

Automation gets things wrong sometimes. If a shop has moved, closed, changed hours or is missing entirely, use the listing form and it will be fixed on the next review pass.
